Amazon Web Services, the cloud computing platform offered by the eCommerce giant, unveiled at AWS re: Invent your latest bet in machine learning: an Artificial Intelligence music keyboard. DeepComposer is designed with programmers in mind who are both fans of music and technological innovation and would like to combine both passions.
To create musical compositions, the instrument uses Generative Adversary Networks, described by the company as "one of the greatest advances in artificial intelligence technology," opening the door to "a new world of possibilities for the combination of human and computational creativity." The type of AI used "conflicts" two different neuronal networks to produce "new original compositions."

AWS says that all types of programmers, “whether they have machine learning or music experience” can take their first steps into the AI world through equipment. Although it was announced only two days ago, some have indicated that the musical compositions produced are far from being "masterpieces", as the BBC reported, or even those who doubt the true usefulness of DeepComposer
For now, DeepComposer is not yet available for sale, but it appears that its page on Amazon is coming soon for $ 99. While the AI music keyboard is not yet on the market, aficionados can take a look at the other two AWS-developed projects, such as DeepLens, a camera equipped with an AI system, and the Deepracer, a small car that wants to help developers learn more about autonomous driving.
