French technology multinational Atos has announced that it will strengthen its presence in Portugal with the creation of a Local Delivery Center (LDC) in the south of the country. In all, the company's focus on the Algarve is to hire 80 new employees by the end of 2020, promising not only the creation of more job opportunities in the region, but also the introduction of “new multi-tasking in the IT sector”. domestic market, as Atos indicates in a press release.

For now, Atos forecasts 25% national business growth, which is based on the gradual growth of the team over the year. The company states that it has already implemented partnership protocols with the University of Algarve to ensure the participation of university talent in the area of ​​technologies.

The center, which will be located in Loulé, wants to provide the national business fabric with a set of services to accelerate its digital transformation, with professionals focused on developing, implementing and managing digital solutions. These include Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Agile development in .Net and Java technology, Quality Assurance, and Outsystems.
