Bolt has introduced a new feature in its app to allow users to add up to three destinations during their travels. The announcement comes at a time when rival Uber has offered a similar feature since 2017.
In the statement, Bolt's head of Portugal, David Ferreira da Silva, clarifies that the new option "allows passengers to see in advance the price of the trip that includes several stops". But also the driver will be able to see the route with all stops on the map of your application after the start of the trip.
Uber added the multi-stop function in late 2017, allowing users to add up to three pit stops on a single trip. The assigned driver can automatically receive directions to each destination and stops are made in the order in which they are added.
To test the new feature, which will be available to users with the latest version of the app, Bolt is offering 50% off on the first five trips. In Portugal the brand is available in the Algarve, Braga, Coimbra, Lisbon and Porto.
