Less than a week into CES 2020, Bosch has unveiled some of the innovations it will bring to the leading international consumer electronics fair in Las Vegas. Highlighted are solutions in the area of ​​IoT and mobility that use Artificial Intelligence or were developed based on this technology.

Even before the event began, the German manufacturer received twice the highest score at the Innovation Awards, the annual Consumer Technology Association (CTA) program that serves as an indicator of future trends. When it comes to mobility, Bosch bets for CES 2020 also focus on its IoT Shuttle, which promises to offer a tailored option for mobility service providers (MSPs) for both road and freight transport. as well as its autonomous vehicle developed in partnership with the German manufacturer Daimler.

The company also revealed that it is developing a new LiDAR system. Technology not only determines how far away objects are, but also their shape by emitting pulsed lasers through integrated optical circuits. The environment around an autonomous vehicle reflects light impulses and the system uses this information to generate a three-dimensional image of its surroundings. In preparation for CES 2020, the German manufacturer chose not to disclose further details about the system developed.

Also featured are their Light Drive smart glasses. The equipment contains an integrated system that projects images in the user's field of vision, being connected to a smartphone or smartwatch. Bosch will also take to the international consumer electronics fair SoundSee, which will soon arrive at the International Space Station. The equipment built into NASA's standalone Astrobee robot uses microphones to capture ambient noise in space by analyzing it through AI.
