Innovative proposals in computing are one of the many highlights of the Consumer Electronics Show and the 2020 edition is no exception. After Acer made its convertible computers known and Lenovo introduced a “Stuffed Case” with 5G-connected folding laptops and until DELL demonstrated a “Concept UFO”, it was MSI's turn to reveal a gaming PC that looks at least curious.
For fans of the Portal saga games, the device may even resemble the physical aspect of GLaDOS, although it does not have the same “autonomy” as the Valve title's artificial intelligence system. On the outside, the MEG Aegis Ti5 features a futuristic robot-like design with a central button called the “Gaming Dial” on the front panel. There, users can check the system status and even optimize it to ensure a better gaming experience.
Under the hood, the MSI computer has an Intel Core i9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti graphics card and 128 GB of RAM, advance manufacturer. With strong adherence to fifth generation mobile networks, MSI has also included a 5G module in the MEG Aegis Ti5.
For now, there is still no expected arrival date or concrete figures for the price of the new MSI computer, but one thing is certain: the value will be high, especially given its interior components.
