MSI has stood out among several innovative gaming PC proposals at CES 2020 with its Aegis Ti5, a device that can resemble the physical aspect of GLaDOS. But the maker's bet has not been on computers that look like a futuristic robot head: among its bets for the international consumer electronics fair are three new gaming laptops, one of which even has a design inspired by the Star Wars spaceships.
In terms of design, GE66 Raider has a strong futuristic inspiration with an aluminum chassis and Mystic Light, a light bar capable of displaying over 16.7 million colors. The notebook has a 15.6-inch display with a refresh rate of 300 Hz. Although the manufacturer has chosen not to disclose all the details about the interior components of the equipment, the GE66 Raider comes with the promise of a processor. 10th generation Intel Core i9 H-Series as well as a GeForce NVIDIA GPU.
The GE66 Raider also features a limited edition whose design is inspired by the Star Wars film saga. Inside, the GE66 Dragonshield has the same components, but on the outside, it features a metal-paneled chassis, similar in style to a spaceship. The creation comes from the mind of Colie Wertz, a digital artist known for working on films such as Star Wars, Transformers and even Iron Man.
Still in the world of gaming notebooks, MSI introduced the GS66 Stealth, a computer that, as its name implies, has a discreet black-only design. Inside its seemingly simple exterior lurks an interior that promises to be prepared for all sorts of intense video game sessions, including the Cooler Boost Trinity + system. Like the GE66 Raider, the computer has a 99.9 Wh battery, as well as a tenth generation Intel Core i9 H-Series processor and a NVIDIA GeForce GPU.
