OnePlus showed Friday more details about its conceptual smartphone, a prototype that the company will unveil at CES 2020, which launches next week in Las Vegas. With the tweet published by the company we learn that the model incorporates an "invisible camera" and "color-shifting glass technology".
While not announcing further details, a Wired journalist who has previously had access to an earlier version of the prototype says that seeing the model was a bit "daunting." "When you think of an invisible camera you can imagine something magical or a stronger physical transition," writes Lauren Goode of Wired. But this is "just a camera you can barely see," he says.
The camera is invisible due to the color shift from electrochromic glass from color to opaque, allowing OnePlus to hide the lens of the smartphone without using any physical mechanism.
Now we have to wait to see the prototype without any kind of "filter". CES will be held from 7 to 10 January and SAPO TEK will follow the news directly from the event.
