At the last Web Summit, Google announced its first accelerated program for startups with sustainable social impact ideas.
By January 5, 2020, Google is receiving applications from startups who have ideas for building solutions to the world's biggest problems. The acceleration program, called Google for Startups Accelerator: Sustainable Development Goals, gives your choice and innovative idea access to the “best of Google”: people, the network and all of its technology.
The sustainability accelerator also provides startups with support and advice from Google mentors or external partners chosen by the company. The projects also have help in raising funding, technology development, product design and growth, as well as leadership training.
Google also offers access to keynotes, panel discussions, and expert workshops.
At the application form, Google further lists that startups should be from EMEA territory, have technology products, and preferably have data, AI or machine learning needs and issues.
