After being the first manufacturer to demonstrate selfie sensor technology under the display in June this year, OPPO showed a new model with the same technology, but this time without any physical buttons. The smartphone is still just a prototype and the company has not announced when it will be available for sale.
Without any openings or physical buttons, the device does not incorporate keys to turn the smartphone on or off or to control the volume, and are designed to function based on pressure sensitivity. The display comes with a minimalist frame.
According to Gizchina News, the smartphone also supports the 30 W wireless VOOC flash charging function, which OPPO has not yet officially marketed. Some sources have also ensured that the 4,000 mAh battery can charge in about 80 minutes.
OPPO explained at the event that the smartphone is just a demo “machine”, which is being updated, and did not disclose marketing dates.
