Samsung will have registered a new model of Galaxy Buds with the US telecommunications authority. Gadget expected to hit the market soon, according to the portal Droid Life.
One of the technical images in the submitted document reveals an interesting detail about these new headsets. In what appears to be the back of the case of these new Buds, it can be read that each headset will have 300 mA of battery, while the case will reach 600 mA. In both cases, this is triple the autonomy of the first model.
Note that the current model guarantees about six to seven hours of battery life, so this new version may be able to reach 21 hours. However, as The Verge points out, the record of the first version of the Galaxy Buds also indicated that the headsets would have more autonomy than they did in their final retail version.
The registration is not accompanied by any other images, so its appearance cannot be determined. There is no reference in the documents to a possible price either.
As for a possible release date, we can already speculate, as registrations with the FCC are usually made a few months before the devices hit the market. Given that the Galaxy S11 is due to be unveiled next February, this new accessory may also be unveiled at the same time.
