The new line "The Frame" arrived on Wednesday in the Portuguese market. Among the many features it offers, the equipment brings art home through Art Mode, a feature that allows the TV to become a painting or photo frame when it is turned off.
Incorporating QLED technology, which ensures 4K image quality, the new version "The Frame" includes several smart features, which Samsung said in a statement to offer "an enhanced viewing experience." In addition to Art Mode, the device includes two sensors, one of brightness, which adjusts screen colors and brightness to the room environment, providing settings to display the art as a true screen, and a motion sensor, which detects the your presence and displays the on-screen artwork on the television, turning off when you leave the space to save energy.
Samsung further ensures that this TV offers high levels of contrast, deeper and darker blacks and 100% color volume, even for artwork when the television is off.
To have access to this art at home you must install Samsung's Art Store app, It offers over 1,200 pieces of art by famous artists and photographers including Cezanne, Rubens, Monet, Bosch, Klimt, Van Gogh and many others. This application also integrates works of museums and galleries.
The TV can be installed in a variety of ways, from the Studio Stand to the wall mount with the invisible connetion cable.
Samsung "The Frame" also integrates Bixby, the brand's voice control platform that turns this television into a smart device, allowing users to control the television and streaming platforms through voice commands.
In Portugal "The Frame" will only be available in selected stores such as El Corte Inglés, Worten – Colombo, Norteshopping, Portimão, Vasco da Gama and FNAC Cascais. The models for sale will be those of 43 inches, with the recommended retail price of 999.99 euros. In the case of the 55-inch model, the value goes to 1,599.99 euros.
